Luke 15:11-32

One of the most famous parables told by Jesus is the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Tim Keller’s best-selling book The Prodigal God: Recovering the Heart of the Christian Faith (Viking Press, 2008) does a good job of explaining how this parable contains the “essential message of Jesus,” and yet there may be more to say on the subject that delves even further into the essence of the Gospel message—and it has everything to do with the person telling the story!
